Brief Bio
Przemyslaw Falkowski-Gilski is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdansk University of Technology. He graduated 1st degree B.Sc. studies (in Polish) and 2nd degree M.Sc. studies (in English) in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Between 2013-2017, during Ph.D. studies, he pursues his interests in the field of electronic media, particularly digital broadcasting systems and quality of networks and services. In 2018 he received the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences with distinction, discipline Telecommunications, specialty Radiocommunication. Currently he works as an Assistant Professor.

SCOPE
With the outbreak of desktop and mobile platforms, the number of services available online, as well as consumer devices connected to the Internet, continues to grow. Generally speaking, network traffic is related with typical basic user activities, such as: voice calls, text messages, and of course web browsing. However, due to the popularity of multimedia services, e.g. transmission of audio-visual content, the network is flooded with additional packets of data. The process of content creation, formatting and distribution, may be realized by numerous parties, including professionals as well as amateurs. This forces a broader analysis of numerous quality aspects, including technical quality of service (QoS) and subjective quality of experience (QoE).
