Scope:
The use of new technologies propitiates new ways of exploring
cultural environments and improves the visitors experience in
cultural environments. New technologies are introducing new ways to
show the same art objects and they are changing traditional museum
visit by a dynamic and imaginative experience. This special session
is focused on how the Internet technologies have contributed in the
modernization of the multidisciplinary world of art museums and,
extensively, in all kind of cultural environments.
This special session is linked with the “Interactive Wireless Guides
for Art Museums” research project and some of its results will be
presented. The
